Prince of Persia (1989) First Level remake in Unity.
Made in just one day, the idea is to reimagine what Prince of Persia might look like if it was made today with retrospective in mind, with artstyle that emerges alongside the making. Initially started with realistic models, but then evolved to respect the old pixelated artstyle and combining it with modern lighting technique. Made within Unity 2019. The end result was drastically different from the Ubisoft reimagination of Prince of Persia, which their aim was pure modern reimagination.
First phase was done to make a quick blockout of the mesh within SketchUp, creating the modular component needed to craft the map. Then laid it all out inside Unity. After that, moving to Blender for further detailing, then back to Unity again to finalize the lighting and environment.
Prince and the Grunt sprite rights belong to the original game, since I ran out of time to craft a new sprite.
